Be coached and lead from your own transformation!

My name is Traci-Lynn. I am a Transformational Coach.

My name is Traci-Lynn. I am a Transformational Coach.

I live in Southern Ontario with my husband, Russ. We have four plus adult children in varying stages of life. Over the last 25 years, I’ve been a pastor, leadership development consultant, business entrepreneur, educator, and denominational leader.  Through all these experiences, especially Cornerstone Consulting Canada, I have come alongside numerous non-profit organizations, churches, and businesses to provide leadership training and coaching, facilitate strategic planning, promote team development, navigate change, and journey through conflict resolution. Coaching has been an instrumental and integral tool in these pursuits. As a coach practitioner, I provide leadership coaching for individuals and groups.

My passion is helping others discover who God has called them to be while pursuing the purposes they were created for.  I am excited to journey into the world of transformational coaching with you.  In 2016, I co-founded a unique approach for developing leaders called Transformational Coaching that teaches spiritual formation and leadership development approaches through coaching postures, skills, and mindsets. Transformational coaching empowers people.  Seeing people step out boldly and courageously with God is beautiful, and I am honoured to coach people in this process.

I love coming alongside individuals and non-profit organizations and empowering them with a more profound sense of their identity in Christ so that they can live out of that identity on mission with the Spirit. I love coaching others to live from their significance in Christ and helping them discover how that looks. I desire to equip His children to live from a Kingdom perspective, embracing and delighting in the journey together as one body with Christ as our head. A first step in this process is knowing who God created us to be.  Using the Grip-Birkman spiritual gifts and personality assessment as a tool, I coach individuals into a greater awareness of themselves, their roles in the Body of Christ, and in their partnership with Jesus in His mission to the Father.

As an ICF-certified PCC coach, a Senior Certified Coach with Leadership Coaching Canada, a Professional Certified Coach with ICF, a Birkman International Certified Professional, and a Grip-Birkman Coach and Trainer, I am honoured to partner with people through coaching.  Coaching empowers others to lead from their transformation as they face their life, work, and ministry challenges and succeed. I look forward to partnering with you. Discover whom you were created to be

while pursuing the purpose you were created for.

Traci-Lynn’s Coaching Approach

My coaching approach focuses on discovering who God has called you to be while pursuing the purposes you were created for. This discovery involves the transformation of the individual while confronting the situations before them. Supporting, encouraging, and challenging are roles I embrace as a coach committed to your transformation.

I work best with leaders who are motivated to grow, who embrace life with interdependence, who empower others, and who want to live from their identity as Jesus’ Beloved. Working with teams and organizations who desire to equip and empower others for mission with Jesus is my strength. The people and organizations I work with find new ways forward together in greater clarity, strength, and health.

My coaching services

  • Transformational Coaching helps clients to take proactive steps in their personal development while addressing their pressing leadership and organizational challenges.

Leadership Coaching is typically a minimum of three sessions around a clearly determined larger goal.

    Sessions are 60 minutes.

  • Discovering who God created you to be so that you can pursue the purposes you were created for can be daunting and overwhelming. Using the Grip-Birkman assessment as a tool for discovery, I coach individuals and organizations into a deeper understanding of their identity in Christ and their roles in the Body of Christ.

    What is GRIP-Birkman?

GRIP-Birkman is a behavioural and Spiritual Gifts assessment designed to facilitate the conversations that build unity in the Body of Christ.

The assessment will answer three primary questions:

    Where am I strong?

    Where am I weak?

    Who do I need?

This in-depth tool provides new insight into how natural behaviour interacts with the supernatural empowerment of God.

It is effective for self-discovery and understanding, team fit and team effectiveness, and missional purpose, alignment, and results.

    GRIP-Birkman

The GRIP-Birkman tool accelerates team growth as it strengthens relationships. Let’s be honest: relationships are messy and need care in order to achieve our shared goals. We need to understand ourselves, understand each other, and work together to align that knowledge with our actions to release the power of the Holy Spirit in and through us.

    The GRIP-Birkman+ tool provides:

A common Language to have real conversations
* An opportunity to Discuss Needs Safely
* A visual understanding of Differences
* A way to discuss our Spiritual Gifts as a Connection and Commissioning
* A way to Value Every Team Member.

    Our Values

Our Values is a team values assessment designed to understand how our unique values impact those around us. It is an opportunity to reflect on where we have high alignment and conviction around certain values and, conversely, where we have aversions. Values are the internal beliefs guiding our observable behaviours, which either allow us to thrive in certain environments or have the potential of leaving us with constant tension both with our role and with those around us.

Our Values assessment is intended to spark quality conversations of understanding, empathy, and open-handed feedback. This opportunity only exists when we together remember that values are neither good nor bad. They are simply the way that we view the world. Their unique combination and proportion is only yours, and it is built upon our life experiences, education, relationships, and beliefs.

    Discerning Direction Together

Discerning Direction Together is a team direction assessment designed to understand how the Lord is leading us together in ministry for this season. It is a team listening process, reflecting on how the Holy Spirit is uniquely guiding us together.  It is a process to discern, share, and create together.

The result of Discerning Direction Together (DDT) is the captivating vision or heart concern that motivates you to extraordinary levels of sacrifice together. In other words, it is your ministry, burden, and passion;  it is the unique calling for this season. It defines where you believe the Lord is leading you in this season for contribution to His Kingdom.

Defining your personal DDT statement is step 1 in the process.  It is not the only thing you can- or ever will do- to contribute meaningfully to the Kingdom of God. It is not a license for you to chase the statement in isolation away from the Body of Christ, and it is not the exact same for every season of your life.  Rather, it is how you can live into- and connect with the team around you.  It is a way for you to honour God’s unique leadership in your life in the context of relationships.

  • Utilizing Gravity Leadership’s peer coaching model, together we will engage in a 10-month coaching and training intensive for Christian leaders who want to bring lasting transformation to their culture. By exploring the gap in our discipleship, we will bridge the gap between what we KNOW and what we DO so we can see real transformation. Peer coaching integrates words, works, and wants, and the result is that we learn to live and lead from the motivation of Jesus: love.

    What you’ll learn:

How to be truly present to yourself, others, and God

How the love of Jesus Christ is actually the key to integrated discipleship

How to listen to the Holy Spirit and discern what God is saying and doing in the everyday situations of your life

How to become more responsive to the good news of Jesus in your life

How to proclaim good news to others in evangelism and discipleship

How to train others in reproducible tools for discipleship and mission

How to develop disciples into leaders who multiply themselves

The outcome is people who are:

At home, in the love of God

    Empowered on the missional frontier

Able to discern and proclaim the gospel of the kingdom of God in every situation.

    How it works:

    1. Weekly time for training, questions, and processing

You and up to five other leaders participate in a weekly 60-minute video call for 10 months. Nothing replaces the power of this simple weekly rhythm.

    2. An actual relationship with your coach

In addition to the weekly call, you’ll have access to individual coaching to spend time on issues you might want to address “offline.”
